Fast sites. Sharp apps.

Websites and apps engineered to convert

Fast, modern websites and custom apps that load in under two seconds, rank well, and turn visitors into enquiries, with conversion built in from the first wireframe.

  • Sub-2s load times
  • Built to convert
  • Continuously improved

The problem

A slow, dated or confusing website quietly costs you customers every day. Visitors judge your business in seconds, and if the site feels clunky on a phone or takes too long to load, they leave, usually for a competitor whose site did not make them wait.

Many small-business sites are also built to look good rather than to sell. They have no clear path to enquiry, copy written to describe the business rather than answer the customer, and no way to capture the interest that does arrive.

A third problem shows up a year after launch: the site nobody can change. Updating a price or adding a page requires going back to whoever built it, so small fixes wait weeks and eventually stop being requested. The site slowly drifts out of date because keeping it current is someone else's job.

The one that costs the most is a rebuild that loses your search visibility. Replacing a site changes URLs, and without carefully mapped redirects the rankings and links built over years point at pages that no longer exist. Traffic falls the month after launch and the new site gets blamed for something the migration did.

How we do it

The AI-driven approach

01

Conversion-led design

Every page gets one job and one obvious next step, built around how your customers actually decide rather than around what looks impressive in a portfolio. That usually means answering the question a visitor arrived with in the first screen, and putting the enquiry path where they are ready to use it rather than only at the bottom.

02

Engineered for speed

Modern, lightweight builds targeting sub-two-second loads and strong Core Web Vitals on a mid-range phone over an ordinary connection, which is the realistic condition rather than a desktop on office fibre. Speed is a ranking factor, but it matters more as the first thing a visitor learns about how you run things.

03

Built to be found and cited

Clean structure, correct heading hierarchy and structured data so search engines and AI answer engines can both parse what the page is about. Content is organised around real questions, which is what makes a page quotable by an AI engine rather than merely rankable by a search engine.

04

Wired for lead capture

Forms, booking and tracking are part of the build rather than bolted on afterwards, and every enquiry route is tested end to end before launch. A form that quietly stops delivering is one of the most expensive faults a site can have precisely because nothing appears to be wrong.

05

Migration without losing ground

Where we replace an existing site we map every old URL to its new home, keep the redirects in place permanently, and check indexation after launch rather than assuming it went fine. This is the step most rebuilds treat as an afterthought, and it is the one that determines whether the new site starts ahead or behind.

06

Handed over, then improved

You get access, documentation and the ability to edit your own content. After launch the work continues on the parts that change outcomes: page speed, copy, the enquiry path and the pages that are nearly ranking. A site is a system to keep tuning, not a project to finish.

What's included

Everything you get

  • Custom website design and build
  • Mobile-first, sub-2-second performance
  • Lead-capture forms, booking and live chat
  • On-page SEO and structured data
  • URL migration and redirect mapping
  • Content editing access and documentation
  • Analytics and conversion tracking setup
  • Custom web apps and customer portals
  • Accessibility and cross-browser testing
  • Ongoing hosting, updates and improvements

Who it's for

Businesses whose website looks dated, loads slowly, or simply does not generate enquiries, and teams needing a custom app or customer portal. It is worth doing when you already get traffic that is not converting, or when the site actively undermines trust in an otherwise solid business. It is the wrong first spend if nobody is visiting yet, in which case a faster site changes very little and visibility work comes first.

Questions

Web & App Development FAQs

How long does a new website take?
A focused business website is typically three to six weeks, depending on page count and how ready your content is. Content is almost always the long pole rather than the build, so projects move fastest when someone on your side owns getting copy and images approved. Custom apps are scoped individually after a discovery session.
Will we lose our Google rankings in a rebuild?
Not if the migration is done properly, and this is the single most important question to ask any developer. Every old URL needs mapping to its closest new equivalent with a permanent redirect, and those redirects need to stay in place indefinitely rather than being cleaned up later. We check indexation after launch instead of assuming it worked, because the failure mode here is silent and shows up as a traffic drop weeks afterwards.
Can we edit the site ourselves?
Yes. You get content editing access and documentation, so routine changes like prices, staff, services and new pages do not require us. This matters more than it sounds: sites that need a developer for every small change stop being updated, and a site that stops being updated stops earning its keep.
Will the site be fast and mobile-friendly?
Yes. We build lightweight, modern sites targeting sub-two-second loads and strong Core Web Vitals, tested on mid-range devices rather than only on fast hardware. That helps search rankings, and it matters most for the visitor deciding in the first few seconds whether your business looks competent.
Can you improve our existing site instead of rebuilding?
Often, yes, and we will tell you honestly when targeted fixes get most of the result for a fraction of the cost. Speed work, a clearer enquiry path and better copy frequently move the numbers more than a redesign does. A rebuild makes sense when the foundation is genuinely holding you back, not merely because the site looks a few years old.
Who owns the site and the code?
You do, including the domain, the hosting account and the code itself. Everything is handed over with documentation and you can take it to another provider at any time. Arrangements where the agency owns the site and licenses it back to you are common and worth avoiding, because the cost of leaving is a rebuild.
Do you maintain the site after launch?
Yes, through an annual maintenance contract on a six or twelve month term covering hosting, security updates, backups, small content changes and ongoing conversion improvements. The same applies to mobile apps, which need it more, since operating system updates break things on a schedule nobody controls. You are not obliged to take it, but an unmaintained site degrades quietly rather than obviously.
What does a custom app cost?
It varies too widely for a headline figure to be useful, so we scope it after a discovery session and give you a fixed number before anything starts. The main drivers are how many user types the app serves, whether it needs to integrate with systems you already run, and whether it must work offline. We will also tell you when a well-built website would do the job, which is more often than people expect.
